Christine started her art journey at high school, after being told not to pursue art by her art teacher she moved on to other things for more than 15 years. In 2017 and after a few adult art classes at the local community hall she’d found a love she forgot she had.
“Moving more into digital art has been a fun and challenging transition. Being able to create fantasy art and cute designs for planners and journals has really inspired me.”
Artist Statement:
“I couldn’t help myself but to pick up my brushes again. When the chance of Adult art classes came up, I just went for it. I was bored at home, and couldn’t wait to have a hobby again. Being older and wiser now, I know I should have ignored my art teacher all those years ago. It was never about making money with my art, I shouldn’t have let myself be persuaded to stop. All I wish for now is to create, paint and help others to find their peace while painting and drawing.”
